In addition to the amazing amount of donations we received for Ukraine, the students at St Mary's have also raised £1025.81 towards Cafod's Ukraine humanitarian appeal! This is a fantastic effort from our students who came up with various fundraising ideas to raise money. Thank you all for your generosity. 

Here is an update from Cafod on how the donations are being spent:

Our Ukrainian aid workers and volunteers are already reaching families in need who have been forced to leave their homes due to the conflict, especially women and children. We are supporting our Caritas sister agencies to reach communities most in need inside Ukraine, and in the neighbouring countries. Your donation will provide food, clean water, healthcare and travel onto safe areas or into neighbouring countries. 

Please continue to pray for peace and the end of the war in Ukraine.
