The Year Rugby team gave a good account of themselves at today's Festival at Hereford Rugby Club, improving game by game.  Despite early losses to Bishops by 4 tries to 0, and a 3 tries to 1 loss to Whitecross (with a try from Johnny L), our loss to Wigmore was by the narrowest of margins, 2 tries to 1 (with a second try for Johnny L) in a game that could have gone either way.

However, the boys never let their heads go down, and finished on a high with a 3 tries to 2 win over Fairfield, with tries from Zac J, Joseph N and Rhys H, plus a 3 tries to 0 win over Academy with tries from Rhys H and two from Joseph N.

It is clear to see when tries are scored but, our man of the match for a lot of the less obvious work e.g. clearing rucks, protecting the ball presented by a teammate, along with some excellent tackling, was Benedict F.
