For St Mary’s dedicated school bus services – Oval (Belmont) and Whitecross

St Mary’s continues to operate two dedicated school bus services that cover the Belmont/Oval and Whitecross areas of Hereford. We operate an application process, therefore please be advised that as numbers are limited there may not be enough vacant seats to accommodate everyone who applies for a place on the school bus. Pupils will be placed on a waiting list when these services are oversubscribed. When considering your application to apply for St Mary’s please ensure you have alternative means of travel should you not secure a bus seat.

The cost of the school bus will be £950 per child, per academic year. We ask parents/carers to make payments termly in advance by given payment dates, once the school has received payment, we then provide the pupil with their bus pass, which is valid for that term. Public Transport

If you son/daughter will be using public transport to travel to and from St Mary’s school please be aware that bus operators can alter their routes or cancel their services at any time.  Public bus services are fully operated by the bus companies and not the school, therefore the school has no control over of any changes to their scheduled timetables.
