St Mary’s Mock Election 2024

On Wednesday 3rd July, the pupils and staff of St Mary’s went to the polls in our Mock Election, just one day prior to the General Election. The aim was to give pupils exposure to the whole process from registering to vote, attending hustings to hear the policies of the respective candidates before voting at our specially devised polling station. 

Many thanks to the five candidates who represented the different political parties and who bravely put themselves before the St Mary’s electorate.

Mr Williams, Head of History, announced the results in a video sent out to all form groups on the morning of Thursday 4th July – see below:
